Alsatian backeoffe ( hotpot with vegetable and 3 meats)

Backeoffe, is one of the pillars of Alsatian cuisine, this complete dish, strong in aromas, simmers for a long time in its white wine broth. Nowadays, there is not a good “Winstub” in Alsace that does not serve this tasty traditional dish. Our Backeoffe is also available with game meat.

Manufacturing

This traditional recipe consists of pieces of pork, beef and mutton, potato strips and carrots in their white wine broth.

Cooking

To stay in tradition, reheat the dish in its glazed terracotta terrine.
